The length of time that a cookie remains on your computer or mobile device depends on whether it is a “persistent” or “session” cookie. Session cookies last until you stop browsing and persistent cookies last until they expire or are deleted. Most of the cookies we use are persistent and will expire between 30 minutes and two years from the date they are downloaded to your device.

You can control and manage cookies in various ways. Please keep in mind that removing or blocking cookies can negatively impact your user experience and parts of our website may no longer be fully accessible.

Most browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can choose whether or not to accept cookies through your browser controls, often found in your browser’s “Tools” or “Preferences” menu. For more information on how to modify your browser settings or how to block, manage or filter cookies can be found in your browser’s help file or through such sites as: www.allaboutcookies.org.

Additionally, please note that blocking cookies may not completely prevent how we share information with third parties such as our advertising partners. To exercise your rights or opt-out of certain uses of your information by these parties, please follow the instructions in the “Behavioural Advertising” section above.

Do Not Track

Please note that because there is no consistent industry understanding of how to respond to “Do Not Track” signals, we do not alter our data collection and usage practices when we detect such a signal from your browser.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.

Complaints

As noted above, if you would like to make a complaint, please contact us by e-mail or by mail using the details provided under “Contact” above.

If you are not satisfied with our response to your complaint, you have the right to lodge your complaint with the relevant data protection authority. You can contact your local data protection authority, or our supervisory authority here: https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/

How long does it take for an order to be dispatched?

Dispatch can take 1 to 2 business days from when we receive your order, not including public holidays or weekends to allow our teamons time to rest and recover their magical energy. But be assured that once we receive your order, we'll get started with packing everything up beautifully for you!

How long will it take for my order to be delivered?

Delivery estimates can be seen at checkout (which are from time of dispatch), but in general:

  • Delivery in the UK will usually take between 2-4 days, outside of any delays that are outside of our control.
  • International delivery will take longer, between 5-15 days depending on your location, though we do everything we can to have your teas with you ASAP. Please be aware that there may be delays relating to customs, which we sadly can't control.

If you require faster shipping, please be sure to pick the shipping option at checkout which suits you best!

What are the shipping costs for items?

Shipping costs are managed by our shipping handlers, and are based on the size/weight of your order. This means we'll never be overcharging you for your shipping. You'll see these amounts at checkout, and can opt between different shipping methods/traceability which may change that cost.

While we endeavor to offer the lowest possible cost in our standard shipping, please note we highly recommend tracked shipping on international orders.

And of course, we offer free standard shipping within the UK for orders over £30, and free international standard shipping for orders over £70.

Will I have to pay duties/taxes on my international order?

As we do not charge VAT on our orders, you may be liable for duties, taxes and/or customs fees on the delivery of your order (depending on your location/order value).

Lucky Leaf Teas is not liable for any additional taxes, duties or surcharges incurred on delivery to your home country.

If in doubt, please check with your country's local authority for clarity on whether you may be levied additional charges.

How do I track my order?

For order tracking, please make sure you select the "Tracked" option for shipping at checkout. You will then receive a tracking number for the delivery service with your order confirmation, which can be used on the carrier's website to track your order from A to Z.

Otherwise, we recommend contacting a local mage who is powerful enough to scry upon your package!

Can I amend my delivery address after placing my order?

Once your order has been dispatched, we at Lucky Leaf Teas are unable to make any changes, additions, cancellations or amendments. The carrier delivering your order may be able to help, and we recommend contacting them directly.

To avoid any delay or mixups with your order, please double check your cart and details before checking out.

If you have made a mistake and your order has not yet been dispatched, please email us at AdventurerSupport@luckyleafteas.com with your order information, or via our Contact Us page and our teamons will do their very best to help!
